    • As part of a team I was asked by Unilever to help promote their brand Surf to the South African market. As I am South African myself I was able to creatively guide the group. Storytelling is still a major element of South African culture and our proposal manifested itself as a short animated film, “Elizabeth’s Apron”, and supporting “The Art Of” book showing our process.

  • As the entire emphasis of our approach to enriching the brand was on storytelling we developed a simple, animated sequence of watercolour backdrops to convey our brand message. Our message was to encourage pride in someone’s work and celebrate the things a lot of us take for granted.

    Our main character, Elizabeth would come to embody these beliefs as while she goes through her daily routine she’s visited by a mysterious messenger…
